This two and a half-day training is designed for individuals who are selected by their districts to serve as mentors and/or cooperating teachers.
The first two days of the training will be in-person sessions focusing on support roles, CCT expectations and coaching strategies to promote reflection and professional growth.
The final half day will be offered either in person or online and will be differentiated to provide more in-depth learning based on the role (mentor or cooperating teacher) in which the participant will serve. For individuals choosing the mentor role, the final half day will be tailored to address the specific tools and processes that will be used in the participant’s district.
Participants must complete the full 2 1/2 day training to be qualified to serve in the role of mentor or cooperating teacher.
Participants must bring their own food/beverage.
